Senior Flash Developer
Job Description:
The ideal Flash Developer would have extensive experience working with Actionscript and the Flash IDE, both on a team and on their own. This person would love what they do and be willing to get up to their eyeballs in code.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Actionscript 2/3 and OOP, Script-based animation and Event Driven Programming
- Basic proficiency with Photoshop/Illustrator/Fireworks
- Deep expertise and experience with client-side web technologies focusing on Flash and experience with HTML/CSS, XML and JavaScript
- Experience with Flash video (progressive and streaming), transparent video and video compression
- Experience with version control systems (SVN, GIT)
- Expert knowledge of Flash Compression techniques and file structuring practices
- Experience with Design Patterns, MVC Architecture such as Cairngorm, PureMVC
- Are comfortable working with a variety of code libraries and programming styles
- Must be able to assist Producers in the creations of requirements, timelines, and estimates for projects and new business opportunities
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines on occasion
- Must be able to follow design and animation direction
Prefered
- Strong foundation in visual/interface design, motion graphics and UI design
- Experience with 3rd party Rich Media vendors a plus (PointRoll, DoubleClick, Eyeblaster, EyeWonder, etc.)
- Game development experience
- Experience with AMFPHP and/or Zend frameworks
- Experience with Flash Remoting, Data Binding, Components, Web Services, Communication Server, Flex and Backend Integration
- Experience with Analytics Solutions (Omniture, WebTrends, Google Analytics)
- Experience with 3D frameworks (Away3D, Papervision)
- Experience with other technologies like Unity3D, Silverlight, iPhone and Android development a plus
