Junior Developer
Job Description:
Studio llc is looking for an entry-level web developer to join our talented team. Have you been using HTML, Javascript, and CSS on school projects but are looking for some real-world experience? Have you started learning PHP or ASP.NET but want the opportunity to learn more advanced techniques? Are you interested in mobile development? Are you a Flash / AS guru and want to have the opportunity to expand on that knowledge while helping produce award-winning work for real clients? The Studio llc. interns and junior developers are given opportunities to grow professionally and technically in a friendly, fun, collaborative environment. The developer would be provided strong leadership on the projects, yet given opportunities to share ideas and try new things. The individuals should be a fast learner of new technologies, work well in a team environment, and be passionate about the art of software development.
Technical Experience: * Basic HTML, Javascript, and CSS knowledge required * Basic understanding of database structures and design preferred * Entry-level or higher experience with a web development language such as ASP.NET, PHP, or Ruby on Rails is preferred * Knowledge of WordPress, Drupal, ExpressionEngine helpful * Flash and AS experience isn't required, but could be a plus * Dabbled in iOS or Android development? That helps!
Communication Skills: * Must be able to communicate & collaborate effectively with internal developers and project managers. * Written communication skills must be clear & concise.
Location: * Studio llc. has offices in Buffalo, NY and also Hoboken, NJ. We are looking for team members in both locations.
