R&D

Every member of the Studio team participates in our internal research and development program. We started it in 2005 to help foster creativity and advances in technology. Our team concepts, designs and builds all sorts of tools, apps and software via our R&D program, and most of this thinking and doing ends up being a huge plus for our clients. We don't use our clients and their projects like guinea pigs... That's what the R&D program is for.

Studio team members are urged to submit project ideas when ever they have down-time, or when ever they have a thought or idea they want to explore further. If approved, active projects are treated just like real jobs because, well, they are real jobs. There is a project manager assigned to each project, there are timelines and milestones set for each, and of course there are deadlines. The products that have come out of our R&D program haven't always been used in a real-world scenario, but the education and experience we gain from each project has certainly been put to good use. Our clients benefit every day from the fact that our team is constantly exploring and learning. When we don't know how to do something, this program affords us the opportunity to not only figure out how to do it, but to try and build something tangible in the process.

Every single member of our team is better at what they do on a day-to-day basis, simply because this program exists.
